Make a round wall 2.5 meters - wall thickness 20 cm

Building a round wall with a diameter of 2.5 meters? It's easy with our round segmental blocks made of aerated concrete. Our round segmental blocks allow you to create round walls with large diameters. These blocks allow you to achieve diameters of 2500mm, 250cm, or 2.5 meters.

Beveled blocks

The round segmental blocks appear beveled when viewed from above. These segmental blocks are also known as trapezoidal blocks. The long side is 290mm long, and the short side is 243mm. This gives the wall a diameter of 2500mm and a radius of 1250mm. These are the external dimensions, including wall thickness. The radius, excluding wall thickness, is 1050mm.

Due to their trapezoidal shape, the blocks aren't perfectly round, so they still need to be finished. This can be done with a sanding board or plaster.

Dimensions of round wall blocks

Our segmental blocks are slanted trapezoidal blocks. When viewed from above, you'll see that they have a long and a short side. The long side is 290mm long, and the short side is 243mm. The segmental blocks are 200mm high. A drawing with the dimensions can be found in the product gallery.

These round segment blocks are suitable for a wall thickness of 20cm, but are available in various wall thicknesses: 150mm, 240mm, and 300mm. Each block is also available in various diameters. Make a 200mm round wall

Creating a round wall with a thickness of 200mm using our segmental blocks is easy. These round blocks are custom-made, so you can start building your round wall right away. The round segmental blocks are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Of course, aerated concrete still needs to be finished with a finish of your choice to create a perfectly round wall. A plaster or render is suitable for this. If the round segmental blocks are used outdoors, the finish must also be suitable.

Making an arch in a wall

The round segment blocks are also suitable for creating an arch in a wall. This creates a beautiful round arch, also called an archway. A round passageway adds ambiance to the space and gives it a lovely organic look. You can create an arch in either an existing or new wall. In either case, you install the wall as usual, and then place the round segment blocks in the place of the round passageway. To glue these, it's best to use aerated concrete adhesive. This is specifically designed for bonding aerated concrete. To apply the adhesive to the aerated concrete, use our aerated concrete adhesive comb. This allows you to easily apply the adhesive around the blocks without using too much. The handy serrations create the ridges for extra-strong adhesion.
