What is an aerated concrete bevel block: A bevel block is an aerated concrete block in which the sides of the block are milled diagonally at an angle of 45°. This results in a V-groove between each connection of blocks, both horizontally and vertically. Thanks to the double-sided bevel, the wall has a beautiful appearance on both sides and no longer needs to be plastered.

Difference between sand-lime brick and aerated concrete bevelling blocks: Usually bevelling blocks are made of sand-lime brick, but here aerated concrete bevelling blocks are offered. Lime sandstone bevel blocks generally have a higher compressive strength, which results in a higher load-bearing capacity. The disadvantage, however, is that sand-lime brick bevelling blocks are much heavier than aerated concrete bevelling blocks. A beveled block made of aerated concrete weighs approximately 15 kg, while a comparable sand-lime brick beveled block weighs approximately 34 kg. The lower weight of aerated concrete bevel blocks reduces the load on the structure.
