Applications:
Aerated concrete blocks of type G6/650 from HplusH are particularly suitable for the construction of partition walls with high sound insulation, thanks to the high density of 650 kg p/m³. These blocks offer better acoustic damping than the G4/550 variant. Due to their load-bearing capacity, they are also suitable for load-bearing walls.
How to insulate a wall against sound:
The cellular structure of H+H aerated concrete has a beneficial effect on sound insulation. Internal damping of the material leads to improved sound insulation, approximately 2 dB better than other building components of the same weight. Installing aerated concrete walls with a weight class G6/650 contributes to effective sound insulation.

Aerated concrete of 200 mm thickness, also known as Itong blocks, is known for excellent thermal and acoustic insulating properties. The material is durable and versatile, suitable for new construction, renovation, repair jobs and additions and renovations.
Inner cavity leaf - Aerated concrete blocks:
Aerated concrete with a thickness of 200 mm is ideal for inner cavity leaves of load-bearing facades. After finishing with an insulating layer such as EPS insulation or Tempex and external plasterwork for protection against weather influences, it retains its insulating properties. Plasterwork is an option for finishing the interior wall.
Load-bearing interior walls:
In addition to exterior facades, aerated concrete blocks of 20 cm thickness can also be used for load-bearing interior walls, thanks to their high load-bearing capacity. The inner wall can easily be finished with stucco (plaster) and serves directly as a fire wall, given the non-combustibility of aerated concrete.
